Marsha Lane Foster:
Award winning photographer Marsha Lane Foster has been a fine art and intimate women’s photographer based in Rogers, Arkansas and now in Springdale Arkansas since 2010. As a domestic abuse survivor Marsha is passionate about empowering women to see themselves as valuable individuals. In her role as an intimate and fine art photographer she encourages women to move out of their comfort zones and achieve emotional freedom through photography.
Her work in the areas of portraiture, fine art photography and filmmaking is intertwined in that she utilizes the artist, client, model and cast experience as a vehicle for personal development for both herself and her collaborators.
In 2016 she embarked on filmmaking. Director of photography & director roles came naturally to her after so many years of conceptual imaging and directing subjects in movement and visualization. Many commercial film projects followed.
In 2018 Marsha directed a 30 minute television pilot style commercial for a Northwest Arkansas based business specializing in professional and home organization. The pilot was titled The Organizer Chicks and became a popular video shared extensively on social media.
In 2019 Marsha produced and directed her first short film, The Right Applicant with Earl Hale writing the screenplay and recording the on set audio
In 2021 Marsha opened Lane Foster Fine Art Gallery in Springdale, Arkansas with the mission to provide an incubator space for emerging artists and to contribute to the landscape of art in Northwest Arkansas,
